I have never used this company before and Daryl was so professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He kept me well informed whilst replacing the guttering and explained what he had done at the end. He also tidied up afterwards, which was a an added bonus! the roof on our small bungalow is nearly 40year old and had quite a bit of moss on it , we were thinking of replacing it and asked a few roofing companys for quotes , platinum was the last to come , all the others said oh you need a new roof etc and gave us way over the top prices , john arrived and i went out to greet him, right away he said , that roof dont need replacing and asked what age it was . is there any leaks , i said no inside the loft is fine , all it needs is the moss cleaned of it , i can do that for you and i can also paint it , i asked him how much and what paint he would be using (i am a former painter now retired) kingfisher roof tile paint he replied , well i said you know your stuff john coz i know of kingfisher paints and they are very good , i only use the best he said some cowboy roofers will use garage floor paint and tell you its roof paint , i was stunned by his honesty , a hard thing to find in a trade person today , we agreed a price and john came the next week , him and his team start early no mucking about they are hard workers and never stop , i asked him dont you take a tea break he said no were here to work , they power washed the roof it was messy but they cleaned it all up and rinsed all the dirt of windows and the drive , john had gone into Glasgow to get the paint leaving the boys to finish the last bit of cleaning when back he got out the large tubs of kingfisher roof paint its a very good product and acrylic based as it was a hot day it dried in no time , john gave it 2 coats of the dark grey we had picked , roof looks like new for a fraction of the price and will last at least 10 years , we are very happy to recommend platinum to any one and already some neighbours are asking for his tel no , thanks john you are a great worker and done a fantastic job for us ,all the best , charlie

Really happy with the service from Platinum Roofing. I messaged on a Saturday morning and John was at the house within a couple of hours and the problem had been fixed. John was prompt and professional and really friendly too. I’ll definitely be using again!
